Today for literacy we had to do a play. Our play is called, Make up your mind and my role is 2nd assistant. The play is about people who can’t make up their mind on what ice cream they want. Someone wanted a mash potato and gravy ice cream and he other person wanted a scrambled egg and peanut butter ice cream. the boss was mad at the 1st and 2nd assistant because they were slow on serving the customers so the boss fired them.
Today for Immersion Assembly we had 5 teams represent what we are doing for our theme, our theme for term 3 is Art works meaning art really does work.
These are the ones that I liked the most.
Team 1 is expressing their feelings with painting, for an example red means you’re feeling really angry,sad or unwell, yellow means that you’re really happy and full of energy, blue means that your really tired and feeling lazy and grey means that you’re really annoyed about something.
Team 4 is making emoji faces with clay their also doing dancing and drama. for their drama they will be expressing how their feeling by acting it out. Team 3 we’re making beat and music with their mouths and making them sync with the music in the background.
Team 5 is doing drama,dance and a bit of art, for their presentation they did drama meaning they were acting out Beauty and the beast.
For today’s lesson we did Mitey, if you don’t know what Mitey is, it’s where you express your emotions to a different person and explain why you are feeling that way, they will also express their feelings back and tell you why.
Hello and welcome to my blog, for today’s learning I was given four options of writing to do and I chose to do the punctuation task so I know where all the commas,full stops and quotation marks go. It was really good for me to do because I know where everything goes now.
Talofa lava my name is Grace Popole. I am 12 years old. There are 4 of us and I’m the 2nd eldest. I am full Samoan and my favourite thing to do in my free time is read, listen to music and writing. After school I like to play with my siblings and go for a walk at the beach or to the park with my family. My favourite food is pizza, takeouts and a few home cooked meals. I really enjoy family time because we get to do things as a family, especially myself and my young siblings. We get to explore new things and just relax and enjoy each other’s company and to also see the outside world. I hope you all liked my introduction about myself and I wish you all a happy and safe 2022. Remember to be KIND.
